First animal almost done!

Well you can see the deer's face now! And this page is coming along...I'm a little worried about the detail on the left hand from my perspective it looks a little undefined. Im hoping when I finish the area it will look better...also their noses aren't that great...does it look weird that you can barely see them? It called for a few stitches of 3865 and that's it

  1. The deer looks really cute =)
I am sure the hand will look better when you are done with the area, I feel like it's always like that with Haeds ;-) They look funny when you work them but when you are one, it's just alright =)
    I can see a tiny nose, I think ;-)

  2. I think this one looks great. Well done. I'm working on a Black and White HAED at the moment and it just looks like grey blobs but I know once it is done it will all come together. I'm sure the same will happen here.

  3. It looks gorgeous!
The thing you have to remember (and I never do with my own stitching), is that it's not designed to be seen from 4 inches away. Put it down and stand on the other side of the room, that's closer to how you'll normally see it!

  5. It looks great. Yes, noses are a little hard to detect (just a little)... but that might be due to camera being unable to capture all the details. I have that problem sometimes.

  8. Thanks all :) I guess I'm just paranoid lol I'm always amazed at how details suddenly pop out at you from seemingly random colors meshed together
