I'm 23, recent college graduate, and love cross stitching! I'm married to my best friend. He's an infantryman in the US Army. We are currently stationed at Ft.Hood, TX.
I finally finally finished!!!!! It's still wet but I had to show it! Only thing is it looks a little slanted to the left...is this just because it is tent stitch or because it's wet or what??
I don't see any slanting. And it's absolutely gorgeous! Are you going to frame it? I even looked up tent stitching, but still non the wiser - it is still cross stitch or half? Anyhow, well done!!!
Thanks! I think I'm just overly critical of myself lol. I plan on framing it. :) Tentt stitch is like cross stitch except you only do half, so you do stitches like this : /// if that makes sense?
What a gorgeous finish =) It's so lovely =) I'm sure that once it is dry it will be perfect =) Looking forward to see it framed. What are you going to stitch knit?
Thanks everyone :) I'm going to work on QS Wind moon by Nene THomas now. I have three pages done but haven't touched it since February. It's on 18 ct and I'm used to 25 now and it's sooooo huge to me now lol
gorgeous stitching :D such a lovely finish!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the finish. You will have to block it to get it even again. That happens with the tent stitch.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your awesome finish!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! It turned out wonderful. Congrats! Now onto the next project. :D
